Job Details

This is a full-time field job for one month. The surveyor will help collect data about households and children under five years old in Helmand Province. The work includes visiting homes and filling out electronic forms correctly. Salary and travel costs will be paid based on the organization’s policy.

National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) is a government office in Afghanistan. It collects and manages national data. It works on surveys, statistics, population records, and geographic information. The organization has offices in all 34 provinces of Afghanistan. NSIA provides correct and reliable data to the government, organizations, and the public.

Responsibilities

  • Attend training before starting work
  • Visit assigned households
  • Fill electronic forms correctly on a tablet
  • Prepare a full list of houses and buildings
  • Conduct interviews with families
  • Upload all collected data to the central system
  • Report daily work to the supervisor
  • Follow survey rules and guidelines

Requirements

  • Must live in Helmand Province
  • Must be ready to work full-time for one month
  • High school certificate is required
  • Able to travel to all districts, including remote areas
  • Physically fit and ready for fieldwork
  • Basic skills in using smartphones, tablets, and computers
  • Fluent in Pashto and Dari
  • Follow data security rules
