Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships 2027 for International Students
Fully funded undergraduate scholarships can help international students complete a bachelor’s degree abroad with major study costs covered. Depending on the scholarship, support may include tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation, airfare, insurance, or other allowances.
However, not every scholarship advertised online as “fully funded” covers all expenses. Students should check exactly what each scholarship pays before applying.

The Global Korea Scholarship is a major South Korean government scholarship for international students.
The 2027 GKS Undergraduate program has officially been announced. Students can apply through the Embassy Track or University Track, depending on their nationality, degree type, and chosen university.
The scholarship provides extensive financial support, including tuition, airfare, living allowance, Korean language training costs, medical insurance, and other allowances specified in the program guidelines.
Applicants must meet the nationality, age, academic performance, education, and other conditions listed for the 2027 intake.
Deadlines are not the same for every applicant. Embassies and participating universities set their own submission deadlines within the GKS selection schedule.
2. Reach Oxford Scholarship 2027
The Reach Oxford Scholarship supports undergraduate students from eligible low-income countries who cannot study for a degree in their home country because of financial, political, or educational limitations.
Applicants from Afghanistan and many other eligible countries can be considered.
The scholarship covers:
- University course fees
- Living-cost grant
- One return airfare each year
The scholarship normally lasts three or four years depending on the undergraduate course.
Medicine is excluded.
Students must first apply to the University of Oxford and receive an offer before they can be considered for the scholarship.
For 2027 entry, the scholarship deadline is 26 January 2027 at 12 noon UK time.
Only around two to three Reach Oxford Scholarships are expected to be available each year, making this a highly selective opportunity.
More Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships
Additional government and university scholarships may become available during the 2027 admission cycle.
Students should carefully distinguish between:
- full tuition scholarships;
- partial tuition scholarships;
- scholarships with a fixed annual award;
- and scholarships that cover tuition plus major living and study expenses.
For example, a scholarship that provides a 100% tuition waiver may still require the student to pay for accommodation, food, flights, visa costs, insurance, and other expenses.
Who Can Apply?
There is no single eligibility rule for all fully funded undergraduate scholarships.
Depending on the program, applicants may need to meet requirements related to:
- nationality;
- age;
- high school graduation;
- academic performance;
- financial need;
- language proficiency;
- chosen university or field;
- previous university study.
Required Documents
There is no universal document list for fully funded undergraduate scholarships.
Each program publishes its own requirements. Documents may differ depending on the country, university, application track, and applicant.
Students should use the official document checklist for the exact scholarship and intake they are applying for.
How to Apply for Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships
First, choose a scholarship that accepts applicants from your country and check whether you meet its current eligibility requirements.
Then follow its official application route. Some scholarships require an application through a university, while others use an embassy, government system, or separate scholarship portal.
Do not assume that applying for university admission automatically means you have applied for the scholarship.
