About the Journalism Fellowships
The Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship is fully funded in the United Kingdom. It is for mid-career journalists who want to take a break from daily work and study journalism in depth. The programme takes place at the University of Oxford. Fellows spend three or six months in Oxford. They join seminars, events, and discussions about media, trust, AI, press freedom, and the future of news. Each fellow works on a personal project that can help their newsroom or the wider media industry. Most fellows receive full funding and a monthly stipend. This fellowship is a great chance to learn, build global networks, and grow as a professional journalist.
